The exhaust ports are also raised .100\" to allow the use of stock and aftermarket manifolds, while the .400\" raised rail works with aftermarket rockers. The 100-percent CNC-ported runners and combustion chambers optimize volume, atomization, and velocity. The 6-bolt design increases clamping ca pacity and greatly improves head gasket retention in high-horsepower and boosted applications in small and large cubic inch, hardcore street applications. It also makes it compatible with the advanced Edelbrock LS Race, GM LSX 6-bolt, and OEM 4-bolt blocks. Built to withstand race conditions, the .750\"-thick deck surface and a reinforced solid rocker rail increase integrity, rigidity, and stability. The copper-infused powder metal seats received a 2.200\" intake and 1.615\" exhaust valve job.
