This unit is manufactured with an internal liquid-to-liquid automatic transmission cooler, which uses engine coolant to regulate transmission fluid temperatures. To supplement our robust radiator, we've included our incredibly durable silicone radiator hose kit. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers for superior heat and pressure tolerance. Within this bundle, we've included two items aimed at maintaining appropriate fluid temperatures. First, we've included our Ford Mustang Racing Thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (179F) compared to the factory thermostat (190.4F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
