In addition, this radiator features increased cooling capacity, which directly results in improved cooling efficiency. This unit is manufactured with an internal liquid-to-liquid automatic transmission cooler, which uses engine coolant to regulate transmission fluid temperatures. To supplement our robust radiator, we've included our incredibly durable replacement radiator hose kit. Our replacement radiator hose kit is constructed from high-grade EPDM rubber, making it resistant to long term degradation. Within this bundle, we've included two items aimed at maintaining appropriate fluid temperatures. First, we've included our Ford Mustang Racing Thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (154.4F) compared to the factory thermostat (190.4F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
