It is designed to be a custom trailer hitch for certain years of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD (will not fit with factory receiver; to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). All CURT Commercial Duty class 5 hitches feature a 2-1\/2 in. x 2-1\/2 in. receiver tube opening to accept the strongest of ball mounts and towing accessories. They are perfect for mounting standard ball mounts, pintle mounts, tow hooks and weight distribution hitches as well as winch mounts and cargo carriers. CURT class 5 tow hitches are protected by a co-curing of liquid A-coat and carbide black powder coat finish.
